I am having a problem I have tried to extract a few large game demos bioshock and moh. When I try the file locks up. In the interim, under Vista, we are hearing two basic problems and I am wondering there is a temporary workaround: 1) Vista seems to prohibit the main process EXE from extracting an ICON resource from another EXE. I guess the mt tool doesn't know how to extract this element, as it predates Vista, note that there are other ways to embed a manifest, but by far this is the easiest when dealing with managed assemblies. Anyway, your trustInfo is correct and will do what it is supposed to do on Vista.
